This interactive, livestreamed course is designed exclusively for Coldwell Banker agents.


Frequently Asked Questions

Any Coldwell Banker sales associate may take the course and become a Member with The Institute. Taking the course and becoming a member of The Institute does not mean that you are a Luxury Property Specialist; threshold criteria must be met and approved to receive the designation.

The training will take place from 1:00 pm to 4:40 pm ET on the first day and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm ET on the second day. Are you in a different time zone? Find your start time below:

12:00 p.m. - 3:40 p.m. / 3:00 p.m. Central Time

7:00 a.m. - 10:40 a.m. / 11:00 a.m. Hawaii-Aleutian Time

You will need a computer and internet access to participate in the livestream training. Login instructions will be sent to you in the days preceding the event.

To earn the Luxury Property Specialist designation (and CLHMS™ designation), you must complete the course and submit an application with your proof of production.

You will receive a link to submit the application in your post-training email.

Applications must be submitted within 24 months of completing the Global Luxury course. Transactions must meet the luxury threshold for their respective area and must have a sold date within 24 months of the date of application.

Due to differing sales performance requirements, not all registrants are eligible to earn both the Coldwell Banker Global Luxury certification and the Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist™ designation. You will be notified by The Institute if your application satisfies the Luxury Property Specialist certification and/or CLHMS designation requirements.

The Luxury Property Specialist Training is not yet approved for any continuing education credits.

The registration fee for the training is $575 USD. This fee includes the training, materials, and the first two years of Institute Membership.

Coldwell Banker staff, managers, and franchise sales may audit the training if they are not practicing agents. To sign up to audit, please fill out our Audit Registration Form.

If you are a current member of The Institute, please login to your Membership Portal to avoid creating a duplicate account for yourself. The registration fee for current members is $575, which includes an additional two years of membership.

If your Institute Membership is inactive, please call us at 214-485-3000 to discuss the registration options that best suit you.

Cancellations received at least fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the event are eligible for a full refund of the registration fees, less a $15.00 credit card surcharge.

Cancellations received from thirteen (13) calendar days to three (3) calendar days prior to the event are eligible for a 50% refund of the registration fees. The remaining 50% of the registration fees can be held as a credit towards another training.

Cancellations received fewer than three (3) calendar days prior to the event or "no shows" are not eligible for a refund, but 100% of the registration fees can be held as a credit towards another training.
